About this project

Hi — I'm just one person. I got into AI model generation while making my own little games and prototypes: prompt ideas, generate, then spend hours cleaning up meshes, fixing normals and baking what I could into something actually usable.

That process kept leaving me with packs of good models — things I'd already checked, tested and cleaned, sitting in a folder nobody else could use. So I built FreeCatalog to share those packs with anyone making things: game devs, indie studios, animators, students, people tinkering at 3 AM. Everything here is released under CC0, so you can use it anywhere, sell your work, and never credit anyone.

Why ads?

Hosting 3D files and moving them to thousands of downloads costs real money, and so does keeping the catalog running. I keep everything free by showing a small number of ads — placed so they never shove the content around, never block your flow, and never load tracking scripts before you opt in. No paywalls: if an asset is here, it stays free.

Why a captcha before download?

Free catalogs get scraped by bots that mass-download files to resell them or just to burn bandwidth. I use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly check that keeps humans flowing and machines out — without the maze-like captchas you grew up hating.

My promises

Every asset ships with a verifiable license (I prefer CC0). I never add a paywall, never require attribution, and never sell your data. Keeping the catalog online costs money — the ads you choose to allow cover it.
