Privacy policy

Short version: FreeCatalog is ad-supported, but we design for privacy-first. We collect the minimum to run the service and detect abuse.

What we store

Download abuse counters keyed by a short-term identifier of your IP, kept for a few minutes to rate-limit bot traffic. No account, no email required, no analytics profile is built from your browsing.

Advertising & consent

We may show ads via Google AdSense when you opt in through the consent banner. Opting in allows their cookies/scripts; declining means no ad scripts load. Google's use of advertising cookies is explained in their Advertising Technologies page. You can change your choice anytime by clearing site data.

Captcha (Turnstile)

Downloads are protected by Cloudflare's Turnstile, which runs without cookies or personal data and may share anonymized signals with Cloudflare for abuse prevention. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies

The only site-first cookie is your ad-consent choice (strictly necessary). We don't use analytics cookies by default.
