We respect intellectual property and work hard to curate only public-domain files. If you believe an asset here infringes your copyright, or that a CC0 dedication was made in error, tell us and we'll act fast.

Filing a notice

Email hello@freecatalog.example with: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) the asset URL(s) on our site, (3) your contact details, (4) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, and (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you're authorized to act for the rights holder.

What happens next

Valid notices get a response within 3 business days. We remove or disable access to the asset and, where info supports it, submit the notice to substantial knowledge of the facts. For CC0 works we may request proof of permission before removal.

Counter-notices

If you believe a takedown was a mistake, you may file a counter-notice with the same details; we'll restore the asset unless the original claimant objects within the statutory period.
